       - Clients must check-in no later than 30 minutes prior to closing 
       - First time clients are received 2:00-3:00 pm only on days listed above

Did You Know...

    • Volunteers logged over 11,000 hours in 2016!!!
    • In 2016, we helped 716 unique households (consisting of 1,693 individuals) received 3,868 distributions
    • Approximately 32% of those who receive food from the Food Bank are children and 15% are seniors (60+)
    • Thanks to a grant from Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and a gift from Soroptimist International of Centre County, 275 children benefited from our 2016 Summer Kids Bag Program
      • Bags included: chicken noodle soup, canned pasta, peanut butter, grape jelly, mac n' cheese, applesauce or fruit cups, fresh carrots, fresh apples, milk and granola/snack bars
    • In 2016, more than 406,076 pounds of food was distributed to the State College Food Bank clients, or the equivalent of 338,399 meals
    • We receive substantial food donations from various community drives such as the Letter Carrier's "Stamp Out Hunger", and Boy Scout's "Scouting for Food", in addition to individual donations. We are grateful for all of the many ways Penn State students and other local groups contribute to our Food Bank.
